the study was to determine the specific economic impact of the
one way on Sprague Avenue on retail businesses in the "bubble" area;
from Thierman Road (the Freeway) to University Road. The study
provides factual information on four years of economic
activity gleaned from the business and property owners in the
"bubble" area specific to the period starting with the change of
Sprague Avenue traffic flow to this date.
The fear of expansion of a one way Sprague Avenue goes
well beyond
University Road.
The negative factors of the Sprague Avenue one way
impacts business all the way to Pines.

This survey
documents the economic damage done to the "neighborhood",
showing considerable loss
of revenue (-20% average), property values, jobs, closed businesses and diminished
life savings of citizens and small business owners. The Gonzaga study provides extremely credible
analysis with documentation on the economic impact of the one way on Sprague Avenue.
